The SASF Mission

It is, and will be, the mission of Stockton Animal Shelter Friends to reduce pet overpopulation, encourage responsible pet ownership, and promote humane treatment of animals.

About SASF

Stockton Animal Shelter Friends (SASF) is a non-profit, all-volunteer, humane organization formed in 1996 to assist the City of Stockton Animal Control with increasing adoptions, humane education and spay or neuter of animals. Our mission is to improve the welfare of companion animals in our community and reduce the homeless pet population.

SASF is located at the Adopt-A-Pet and Spay/Neuter Education Center at 7475 Murray Dr., Suite 19 in Stockton, CA. Visit our Contact Us page for directions to the Adopt-a-Pet Center.

The purpose of the center is to facilitate the placement of adoptable animals from the city/county animal shelter into loving homes and to promote efforts to reduce pet overpopulation in San Joaquin County.

Monday Closed
Tuesday-Friday 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday-Sunday 12:00pm - 4:00pm
